Sessions
A session contains participants, media information, and records representing transcript utterances. Select a session in either Project Manager view to inspect its summary and available actions.
Create a session
Use the plus button in the classic Session header for quick creation in the selected corpus. The New session... command opens a dialog where you choose the corpus and enter a name. The name must be non-empty, unique within that corpus, and valid as a filename; Phon removes a typed .xml extension.
If the corpus has a session template, the new session copies it. See Edit the session template.
Open a session
Double-click a session, press Enter in the classic list, or select Open session. To work as a blind transcriber, enable Blind mode before using the default action or select Open session as transcriber... (blind mode). See Blind Transcription.
Manage sessions
The Session title menu, context menu, and Project > Session menu provide Duplicate, Rename, Delete, and Manage backups. Duplicate and Delete support multiple selected sessions; Delete requires confirmation and cannot be undone.
In supported Project Manager views, drag a session to another corpus to copy or move it using the offered drop action.
