Session Editor
The Session Editor is the main window for viewing and editing session transcripts. It displays session data as a continuous transcript document with dockable side and bottom panels for additional tools and views.
Editor Layout
The Session Editor window is composed of the following areas:
- Transcript — The central area displays the session as a continuous document. The session header shows metadata (date, media, languages, participants, tiers) followed by records containing tier data for each utterance. The transcript is always visible and cannot be closed.
- View sidebar — A vertical strip of icon buttons on the left and right edges of the window. Clicking a sidebar button opens the corresponding view panel alongside the transcript. See Editor Views for details.
- Status bar — The bottom of the window shows the session file path and an error/warning summary. Clicking the error/warning indicator opens the Session Check view.
