Editor Layouts

The Session Editor supports predefined and custom view layouts. A layout defines which views are open and their positions (left, right, or bottom panel).

Built-in Layouts

The following predefined layouts are available from the View menu:

  • Default — Transcript only, no side panels
  • Transcription — Transcript with IPA Dictionary panel
  • Segmentation — Transcript with Timeline panel
  • Syllabification & Alignment — Transcript with Syllabification & Alignment panel
  • Validation — Transcript with Session Check panel
  • Find & Replace — Transcript with Find and Replace panel

Custom Layouts

To save a custom layout:

  1. Arrange the views as desired by opening and positioning panels.
  2. Select View > Save layout....
  3. Enter a name for the layout and click OK.

Custom layouts appear in the View menu alongside the built-in layouts. To delete a custom layout, select View > Delete layout....
