Search

The Search view provides a sidebar panel for searching across all records and tiers in the session. Results are displayed in a table showing the record number, tier, and matching text.

Using Search

To search the session:

  1. Open the Search view from the right sidebar.
  2. Type your search term in the search field.
  3. Results appear in the table below, showing the record number, tier name, and matching text with the search term highlighted in bold.
  4. Click a result row to navigate to that record and tier in the transcript.

Search Options

The search field provides the following option buttons:

  • Aa — Case-sensitive search
  • (.*) — Regular expression search
  • Phonex — Search using Phonex pattern syntax (for IPA tiers)

Use the filter button to restrict the search to specific tiers or speakers.
