Find and Replace

The Find and Replace panel provides inline search and replacement within the Transcript View. Access it using Cmd+F (find) or Cmd+R (find and replace). It can be closed using the esc key or by pressing the X button.

Using Find and Replace

  1. Press Cmd+F to open the find bar, or Cmd+R to open find and replace.
  2. Type the search text in the Find field. Matches are highlighted in the transcript as you type.
  3. Use the next/previous buttons to navigate between matches.
  4. To replace, enter replacement text in the Replace field and click Replace or Replace All.

Options

The find bar supports the following modes:

  • Plain text — Literal string matching (default)
  • Regular expression — Java regex pattern matching
  • Phonex — Phonex pattern matching for IPA tiers
  • Case sensitive — Toggle case-sensitive matching

Filter options allow restricting the search to specific tiers or speakers.
